Tinnitus is the name given to the condition of noises heard 'in the ears' and / or 'in the head' with no external sound source.
Tinnitus can be experienced in association with many medical conditions. It is therefore essential to have an examination by a medical doctor or Ear Nose and Throat Consultant prior to starting any tinnitus management program.

Ear wax, Infections, Perforated Tympanic Membrane.
Middle Ear
Otosclerosis, Acute Otitis Media, Serous Otitis Media,
Chronic Otitis Media.
Inner Ear
Presbycusis, Vestibular Schwannoma, Meningiomas, Noise Exposure,
Labrynthitis, Menieres Disorder.
Other Conditions
Trauma, Concussion, Temporal Mandibular Joint Syndrome,
Disorders of the head and neck musculature, Cervical Disorders,
Lymes Disease,Thyroid disorders, Begnign Intracranial Hypertension,
Diabetes and Pre Diabetic States, Cardiovascular disease, Dementia,
MS.
Drug Ototoxicity
Quinine, Cisplatin, Salicylate, Duiretics, Aminoglycosides.
